This fall we are planning to partner with Kids Hope USA. Check out the video below for a look at the ministry. Below the video, you will find ways to sign up and help out.
As you can see from the video, this is a fantastic ministry and we are excited about partnering with them!
Being a mentor is all about, investing in the lives of these kids who desperately need someone to walk alongside them. Mentors must be 18 or older and meet one on one with one student for one hour per week between the hours of 9a and 3p. Get creative if you have to, adjust your schedule so you can start late once per week or take a longer lunch once per week. If you’re in college and you have a break in class, use it to be a mentor!
We want to make sure that we are doing our best in seeking the Lord’s guidance in guiding the lives of these kids, so we have given each mentor/student pair a prayer partner. Prayer partners communicate and receive updates and prayer requests from the mentor and consistently pray for both the student and the mentor.
